Take a look at what your neighbors are saying about us.
It's hard to believe this family run business only has 1 review, but we are very happy to share our experience. Not only was their estimate very reasonable, but the quality and professionalism exceeded our expectations. We absolutely recommend Family Roots and will be using them again for our next project. Great Job!
Dollynda Fleck-phelpsCommunicative, fair pricing and got us in quickly! This was an all around great service!! Will be using again and will recommend!
Ashley HornRichard was quick to get me a bid for multiple projects in our yard. We had neglected the beds for the last year and they were overgrown with weeds and some needing rebuilt completely with lumber. Family roots was gave me a fair bid and completed the job before some others could even get to me to give a bid! Highly recommend!
Jake HartmanThey have done several projects for me in the last year. From my personal home to many of my rentals and Air bbs. They are amazing, very professional, and complete jobs quickly. I highly recommend!!

Barbara SilvermanRichard is top notch!! He is friendly, responsive and a fantastic carpenter. Very knowledgeable as well. He did a wonderful job replacing my deck. It was worse than I had anticipated, but he made the replacement look easy. The finished product is amazing. I am 120% satisfied. I will use him in the future for other projects and maybe some landscaping as well. Richard is the REAL DEAL.
Alicia WagnerFast and good!
Paul DrinkallFair Price, on time, good communication, work done in a professional manner.
Paul LindforsWe hired Richard to do some landscaping work at our home. He removed a small tree, added rock to several landscape beds, and planted a tree and some shrubs. Additionally he straightened up a rock border that was in disarray and fixed some lose stepping stones. Richard accomplished everything we needed and did excellent work. His quote was fairly priced. We have already requested a quote for some other rock work we would like to have done.
EllenGreat job came out exactly the way I wanted
Tom WilsonMy husband and I highly, highly, highly recommend Family Roots Landscaping and Construction!! We hired them to rebuild a rotting deck and add steps to the lower level, but before they even completed the job, we were asking for quotes on our next several projects! Richard is a talented craftsman with integrity and a solid work ethic who goes above and beyond to finish the job. Family Roots definitely exceeded our expectations...again, highly recommend!
Nicole HartRichard showed up on the day promised, on time and ready to work. Access to my decks is through my house, he was very careful bringing in new materials and removing old materials and debris. He was friendly answering my questions and worked continuously until finished. His work was professional and his cleanup was complete. I highly recommend him and his company and will be using him for future projects.
Joe LathamSo impressed with Richard and the work that he completed at our home in Shell Knob. On time, hard worker, and completed the job in the time frame that was promised. Will definitely be using his services again.
